Chalk Mountain Services of Texas, LLC (“Chalk”) is a leader in transportation and logistics servicing the oil and gas extraction industry. The Company is based in Fort Worth, TX and is currently hiring a Tire Technician to work at its Mentone, TX location.

The Tire Technician will perform tire maintenance and repairs on company owned equipment.

Essential Functions

• Mount/Dismount tires.
• Repair and rotate tires.
• Follow wheel torque specs and procedures.
• Conduct and document fleet checks.
• Maintain service truck readiness.
• Request parts and tires.
• Respond to offsite service calls.
• Track tire usage.
• Document tire shop operations and track time in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain repair order documentation to include repair description, parts used, and repair times.
• Perform monthly inventories as required.
• Adherence to all company, federal and state rules, policies, and safety regulations
• Required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and nights as required for the position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year of experience working on heavy trucks tires, the ability to pass drug tests, criminal background investigation and a safe driving record.
